Water Main Break Cuts Service to 250 Homes near Sandtown Park on Christmas Eve

8 inch water main break has caused an outage for roughly 250 homes.

Update: Water has been restored to the homes in the area.  No Boil Advisory called for.

Watershed Management has shut off water service to roughly 250 homes Monday night according to a Janet Ward, Watershed Spokesperson, press release.

The problem with the 8-inch water main is undetermined at this time.  Crews will be working in the area to fix the problem.  There has not been a determination of when to expect service to resume.

The following streets are said to be affected: Woodside Drive, Fern Valley Drive, Green Hill Court, Red Berry Lane, Reynolds Road, James Madison Drive, Dolly Avenue and Faron Drive.

This area is on the southside of Campbellton Rd., near the intersection of Wallace Road, not far from Sandtown Middle School.
