This holiday spectacular is a musical Journey back in time. From traditional Gospel to Hip-Hop. A Soulful Christmas has it all. Off-Braodway Producer Stepp Stewart brings this African American Musical Tale to life for the first time on stage November 27-December 2, 2012.
The judging panel will be Stepp Stewart of the Dr. Oz TV Show & The Hip Hop Moms, Neyo, Lil Wayne & T-Pain's Moms) It is free to audition. You must sign a release form to participate.
Casting breakdown: Need performers who can do the following: "Silent Night" by the Temptations, "Santa Clause is Coming To Town" By the Jackson Five, "Chestnuts Roasting" (The Christmas Song) by Nat King Cole, "All I Want For Christmas is You" by Mariah C arey, "Go Tell It on The Mountain" by Mahilia Jackson or "This Christmas" by Donny Hathaway and more. Bring your best Soulful Christmas song to perform Acapella. We are also seeking Gospel singers to make up our Soulful Christmas Choir. Rappers who can perform well and take direction, and child actors who move well to play the boy and girl age range 8-11 years. We also need senior actors to play their great grandparents.
