heats up Wolf Creek Amphitheatre 

New Edition, Erykah Badu and others are featured in the two-day concert

Funk Fest® Atlanta, a two-day outdoor festival celebrating old school funk, R&B, rap and soul is set for the weekend of May 18 and 19 at Wolf Creek Amphitheatre! Friday’s line-up features all six-members of New Edition, SWV and
Doug E. Fresh. On Saturday, concert-goers will hear the sounds of Erykah Badu, Raheem DeVaughn, Loose Ends, Special Ed, and just added soloist – El DeBarge!

Friday the gates will open at 4 p.m. with the concert beginning at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the gates will open at 3 p.m. and the show will begin at 5 p.m. Wolf Creek
Amphitheatre is located at 3025 Merk Road in Atlanta.

The 2012 Funk Fest® music series marks the 18th anniversary of the festival which began as a small concert in an outdoor venue in Mobile, Alabama. Currently,
Funk Fest® is in five cities: Atlanta, Jacksonville, Memphis, Orlando, and St. Petersburg. Each year, Funk Fest® attracts music enthusiasts from all 50 states to its specially-selected venues and adds significant tourism revenue to each city’s local economy. Funk Fest® celebrates the rich cultural heritage of “old school” music and has grown into a true celebration of human expression.
