Jazz at the Museum

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art will host "Jazz at the Museum" on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring acclaimed musician and composer Joseph Jennings, director of the Spelman College Jazz Ensemble, and local jazz quartet Forward Motion.

The event commemorates the Museum's inaugural exhibition, "Bearing Witness: Contemporary Works by Black Women Artists," which debuted on Oct. 26, 1996. Sponsored in partnership with the Spelman College Department of Music, this free event celebrates the Museum's current exhibition, "15 x 15: The 15th Anniversary Acquisitions Exhibition," on view through Saturday, Dec. 3.
