The Green Room Pitching Call

Have you ever wanted to teach a Class at the Green Room?  What about Hosting or Producing a Screening or Event? Well your moment has finally arrived! Voted Atlanta’s BEST Coffee House/Lounge by the Atlanta Tribune Magazine, The Green Room is placing you front and center to pitch your proposal and turn your concept into the next big thing!

On Friday, June 8, 2012 during Open Mic Night ($5 cover charge) award winning actress Terri J. Vaughn and business manager/attorney Shannon Nash are merging together to hear your pitch. The floors of The Green Room can potentially be all access to you and your dreams. Be the first to join the ranks of celebrities such as Terri J. Vaughn, Jasmine Guy, Kim Fields, Tommy Ford, Rodney Perry, Hill Harper, Judge Mablean, who have all taught classes or hosted events at the Green Room.

Winner(s): Will get a contract with The Green Room to run their class or event.

Details:

• Pitches should be no longer than 5 minutes
• Pitching Session runs from 7 pm to 9pm on Friday June 8th  
• Complete a Green Room Pitching Form  (http://tinyurl.com/7jlw8k3) and email back to us at thegreenroomactorslounge@gmail.com by 5pm EST, Wednesday June 6th
• If chosen, you will be notified on Thursday June 7th with a time to do your pitch.
• Be Creative and think outside the box
• We are looking for hot, new ideas and people with a following or who can command an audience

Rated Atlanta's best Coffee House/Lounge by Atlanta Tribune Magazine! The Green Room Actors Lounge is a theatrical bookstore and coffee/tea lounge that was created by actress Terri J. Vaughn (Steve Harvey Show, Meet the Browns) and co-owned by business manager and attorney Shannon Nash (Doc Shaw, Jasmine Guy, Terri J. Vaughn) and Roger Bobb (President of Bobbcat Films and former EVP Tyler Perry Studios).

TGR is a cross between what you would find in LA and NY geared toward the entertainment community. In addition to being a bookstore and coffee/tea bar, TGR holds acting classes (kids and adults), classes behind the camera (producing, script writing, budgeting, etc) and special events like book signings, industry nights, and much more.  TGR has also become that "it" spot for events, business meetings, private parties, screenings, and overall lounge/hang-out!
