Aieda McFarland, music enthusiast and Capital View resident believes that Arie's performance is the perfect fit for the amphitheater's first concert. "She represents a sound that is a perfect fit for our community," said McFarland.  "This is just what southwest Atlanta needs.

Walston became nostalgic as she talked about Wolf Creek's past. "I can vividly recall attending a Whispers or Temptation concert a on the open lawn with my family and friends a few years back," Walston said.

"It was like having the Piedmont Jazzfest in my backyard," she added. "We picnicked on the field, with candle lights and cards, bopping our heads and swaying our hands to the rhythmic beats as our young kids played close by.  I’ve missed having the summer concerts so close by and feel ecstatic about the possibility of more music and other cultural events returning to my community."

On the day of the concert, doors will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.
