The Cascade Links Bring United Nations to M. Agnes Jones
The Buckhead Cascade Links spring camp helped teach young people about the global world they will soon inherit.
M. Agnes Jones Elementary School collaborated with The Links Buckhead Cascade City Chapter and presented their graduates of the Model United Nations Spring Break Camp at their Closing Program recently.
Haiti, South Africa, and Japan were the focus as participating students gained a greater understanding of how countries can help other countries and how youth can assist others in need.
The graduates can now communicate with youth living in an orphanage in Haiti and, also, collect and plant seeds for sustainability for others in need.
