TLC's Chilli Creates Petition to Stop Cyber Bullying After Own Child Was Bullied

Can you imagine if this was your child experiencing this type of public ridicule on such a large platform?

At the end of this article are the words from Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, who is a member of the mega group TLC and a SW Atlanta native.  Chilli recently created a petition to stop cyber bullying after her son and family had become victims of this terrible act.

According to various reports,  MediaTakeOut.com has repeatedly attacked Chilli's 16 year old son in a number of online articles.  The online magazine is read by millions of people since they primarily cover entertainment gossip, but celebs like Chilli are saying that entertainers' children should be off-limits.

In fact, "MediaTakeOut.com constantly posts negative headlines on not just Chilli's son, but also Will Smith and Jada Pinkett's children, Puffy's twin daughters and even Jay Z and Beyoncé's baby Blue Ivy," says Christal Jordan of Enchanted PR.

Christal goes on to write, "although these children have celebrity parents it doesn't make them exempt from going through puberty or anything else that our children deal with. This is wrong and its time we spoke out about it. Please read Chilli's letter below and if you agree with us, we ask you to sign the attached petition and help us get the word out."

Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas

Most of you know me as a member of the group TLC, but everyone who knows me personally knows being a MOM is my number one priority. The health and safety of my son means more to me that any accomplishment or achievement I've received being an entertainer. Recently my son was targeted negatively by popular gossip site MediaTakeOut.com. I can't describe the anger I felt at my son being ridiculed continuously by MediaTakeOut.com for no other reason than the fact that he's my son. MediaTakeOut.com has posted numerous false stories about me, and other celebrity friends of mine and while I don't like it, I realize that is a part of what comes with celebrity. However when my 16-year-old son is being attacked, that is when I take off the celebrity hat and become the protective Mother that I am, and I know many of you are.
