Tonight: Business and Professional Development Workshop at Southwest Branch Library

Dr. Deborah Porter will speak about "Critical Thinking Skills for Business & Professional Development" tonight. The event is presented by the Women's Employment Opportunity Project.

Dr. Deborah Porter will speak about Critical Thinking Skills for Business & Professional Development from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southwest Branch Library.

The event is presented by the Women's Employment Opportunity Project. The organization focuses on promoting the economic advancement of women with technology-based solutions, tools, training and business opportunities to advance their economic sustainability.

Formerly the Southwest Regional Library, this library is one of 34 branches in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. The library houses 157,000 books, videos, CDs, audio-cassettes, periodicals, large-print books and reference materials; a large children's book section; and a 75-seat auditorium.

The library is located behind the Southern Friends car wash on Cascade Road near The Home Depot.
