C.T. Martin of District 10 to hold Public Meeting on the new Family Dollar Store coming to Cascade

A Public Meeting will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Questions still are prevalent about the that is being built on Cascade Road, and whether or not it is needed and wanted.

Councilman C.T. Martin's office (District 10) said that they will be having a public meeting on about the new business and peoples concerns at 6:30 p.m., at the .

The Family Dollar at Benjamin E. Mays and Cascade Rd. has already put up the brick veneer, and continues to grow and grow.

It is over-sized for the neighboring businesses of Cascade Heights Village and that very crowded intersection will not support the traffic it may bring! We already have CVS, several mom & pop convenience stores...and a Family Dollar on Cascade Ave in addition to the large grocery stores/drugstores by 285. Why is this needed?

Many residents have voiced similar opinions that there are already a number of similar businesses in the area, and that this new store is not needed.  Please continue to weigh-in on this matter.
