The Department of Procurement will host the Connecting the Community to Positive Procurement Practices Vendor Expo from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center.

The Vendor Expo will provide attendees an opportunity to learn more about the City of Atlanta’s procurement process, and creates a networking environment for individuals involved in the procurement and supply industry. Vendors are also encouraged to register for an exhibition table, which allows showcase of their latest products and services available to the city.

The Vendor Expo will occur during Procurement Month, which is recognized by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.

The Department of Procurement works to provide a more streamline process for vendors to provide services and do business with the City of Atlanta, and the Vendor Expo is an event designed to inform vendors, and promote more open and transparent relationships between government and citizens.

Attendees can register in advance online for $25.00, and can pay $35.00 on the day of the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for attendees. The cost for vendors participating as exhibitors is $100.00.
