Enjoy the Great Outdoors in Southwest Atlanta This Weekend!

The forecast today is for sunshine and highs in the mid-40s in southwest Atlanta; Sunday is even better with highs in the low 50s, according to the Weather Channel's website, www.weather.com.

On Monday, however, the site predicts the community will have a "wintery mix" of rain, sleet and snow and highs in hte 30s.

So now is the time to enjoy some outdoor activities around Cascade. Here are a few suggestions:

Play tennis with your family after a long week stuck indoors. is the perfect place to burn energy and get a great workout while having fun swinging the racket.

Take a hike. Enjoy the outdoor hiking trails at one of the many parks in Cascade, such at the Outdoor Activity Center.

Throw the ball on the softball field at the Oakland City Park.  Kids and adults alike can play a friendly game of softball or simply enjoy batting practice.
