HuffPo's 'Black Voices' pays Homage to Soul Food in Southwest Atlanta

From The Beautiful to Big Daddy's, Cascade is represented in the recent Black Voices article.

It is great to see that Southwest Atlanta continues to be represented in Black Voices' Atlanta profile section.  This week one of their bloggers tackled the subject of soul food and its origins.

If you are able to take a minute to read the article, you will see how he and others trace the origins of soul food to West Africa and our subsequent experiences on American soil.

What I think our Cascade Patch readers will like about the article, is that it shines a spotlight on so many of our hometown staples.  Paschal's gets a shout out, Busy Bee's, Soul Veg, , , and even one of my 4th Ward favorites Sound Table all deserve the national attention that an article from Black Voices can provide.

Congratulations to all these businesses for providing such good food for SO many years!
