Readers' Choice Roundup - Asian Restaurants

Readers, We asked for our opinions last week on the best Asian restaurants and you answered!

Today we offer you a roundup of the top picks from a dozen participating Patch sites. Some asked readers to pick from a wide array of Asian eateries, and some asked their local communities to take a look at a narrow category such as sushi or Thai.

Here are the places that you, the readers, told us are tops:

Do you agree with this Best Of list? Did one of your favorite Asian restaurants fail to make the cut? Tell us in the comments area below.

One of the best is Little Bangkok on Cheshire Bridge .. don't know what Patch that is!

I'm really surprised that there are not any Buford Highway places listed here. I know that these are neighborhood spots that Patch covers - but I think leaving out the fantastic diversity that is offered on Buford Highway for Asian is leaving out some of the best in the city! Dai Loi is the best Pho in the city. Co'm is also amazing. Both of them are Vietnamese and on Buford Hwy just north of Clairmont.

Hi, Jennifer. The Buford Highway corridor is in my coverage area, but I polled on Indian food last week instead of Chinese, Korean or other Asian places. So, that's why no Buford Highway restaurant was named as a poll winner. Most of the Indian restaurants in my Patch are located in North Decatur.

Would also throw in Nam Phuong for their delicious Bun Bo Hue!

New Paradise on Buford Highway across from the CDC/IRS is very good. Don't discount it just because ofthe building they are in.... Penang is up the street in a little asian shopping center on the same side of the road. Yum Yum.

Jonathan - maybe you guys should do a "best of Buford Highway" piece. We go there all of the time and there are so many great places! I'm marking down these from Justin and Bill on my list!

I thought the same thing. The process with this feature is somewhat complicated, but I definitely intend to get one on Buford.

Voters might find it useful to be provided with the names and positions held by members of theRead More "Community Advisory Boards" and the "Human Services Coordinating Committee" as these 2 groups seem to have been provided with enough information to make $4M worth of recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. Conversely, not long ago, a costly audit report revealed that not enough program information had been collected (over a 3 year period) for professional auditors to make programmatic recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. Taxpayers of Fulton County are in dire need of NEW Commissioners who will not continue to buy the garbage, repeatedly, placed before them by the Director of Housing and Human Services: Gerry Easley. It would also be beneficial for taxpayers to be provided with the list of names of individual government employees who did receive permanent salary increases, during the last 5 year, when no county-wide permanent raises were approved of by the Board of Commissioners.
