Three Favorite Places For Easter Brunch

From Southern-style cuisine to raw food delights, southwest Atlanta has something to offer for Easter brunch.

It’s one of the most popular religious celebrations in the world. So popular, in fact, that weeks before Easter Sunday, some restaurants already have dozens of reservations on their books as residents prepare to spend time with family and friends.

Easter, the day many Christians celebrate in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is April 24 this year and for many restaurants it will mean hosting hundreds for Easter brunch.

  • For Tassili’s Raw Realty, at 1059 Ralph David Abernathy, this will be a first. The raw food restaurant opened this year and plans to make the Easter brunch a tradition. Between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., patrons will be treated to neo soul/ jazz music by Soulstar and featuring vocalist Zayani Rose. For Easter brunch, there will be a combo that includes raw pecan hancakes with maple or tropical syrup, fresh fruits, raw organic scrambled tofu and hot chocolate almond milk. The combo is a $15 value that the restaurant will be offering for $12 from 12 to 4 p.m.
  •  Landon’s Restaurant & Bar at 3752 Cascade Rd., which serves an array of modern American cuisine, will be providing a buffet-style Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s the restaurant’s fourth year. There will be a hot food station, a salad bar, an omelet station, a dessert and a carving station. The restaurant will also be serving bottomless Mimosa, a mixture of champagne and orange juice. The buffet will be $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 years old and younger. Children 5 years old and younger will eat for free.
  •  Paschal’s Restaurant at 180b Northside Dr., serves Southern cuisine and dates back to 1947. The upscale restaurant will be providing a traditional buffet-style Easter brunch of omelets, waffles and fruits from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The buffet will be $23.95 for adults and $8.95 for children 10 and under.
