Sustainability Summit In East Point, Georgia

In the wake of a financial recovery from the recession, East Point, Georgia Citizens, Local Small Green Business Owners along with Non-profit Organizations discovered a way to support all of the Citizens of East Point.

This unique and very helpful approach is supported by East Point City Councilman of Ward A , Mr. E. Alexander Gothard. It ties in Conservation of Energy, Healthy Living by planting gardens and educating the East Point Citizen on Financial Sustainability just to name a few.

The event is called the 'Sustainability Summit' and this hotly contested occasion will be held at the Jefferson Recreation Center on 1431 Norman Berry Drive in East Point, Georgia Saturday, July 27th 2013 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Fliers were passed out to residents of East Point, Georgia stating, " Let us show you how GOING GREEN can help lower your monthly bills, improve your health, and enhance your quality of life! "

Also located on the Flyer it stated, " Free Giveaways! First 100 seniors with valid East Point ID will receive a free floor fan to help stay cool in the hot summer. "

It is expected that 300 to 500 East Point Citizens will attend this event.

It appears that Grassroots Campaigns and Social Media Advertisement plays a very important role in getting the word out to thousands of East Point, Georgia Citizens.

As innovations in modern communications continue to increase our focus, as well as, awareness of activities in our Communities, Cities, Counties, States and Regions; East Point Young Leaders are not afraid to utilize these tools effectively.
