Cirque du Soleil Totem ends Sunday at Atlantic Station

Under the grand Chapiteau (large tent, amphitheater) at Atlantic Station lies a spectacular exhibit of sheer strength, grace, elegance, power, endurance and skill. Totem, the latest installment of the Cirque du Soleil experience has been playing to packed audiences since it arrived in Atlanta back in October. It's a fast paced, action packed magical experience that captivates you for 90 minutes of excitement and fantasy. 

Tomorrow is the last day to catch this fascinating show as it goes dark here, ends its run and moves on to another city. I've seen most of the Cirque du Soleil shows over the years and have to admit the Michael Jackson Immortal Tour is my favorite. But,once again I was captivated by the precision acrobatics of Totem and joined the chorus of oohs and ahhs as one after another unbelievable stunt was achieved and acknowledged with thunderous applause by the audience. The theme of this show is a journey into the evolution of man and the costumes exhibit the journey with detailed masks and headdresses. The show opens in Miami Fl January 10.

While the tickets are a bit pricey it's well worth the trip and there are discounts available and the show for the entire family.  final shows are 8 p.m. tonight and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. tomorrow.
