Twenty-Two Members of the Sorority To Be Honored
Atlanta, GA (April 2013) – The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is excited to present its annual scholarship luncheon honoring some of the most powerful women of the decade on Saturday, May 4 at 11:30 am at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta 30337.
Tickets can be purchased for $65 for the luncheon with the theme “Celebration of Women: Builders of Community,” and the event promises to enlighten, inspire, uplift, empower and even transform by noting the accomplishments of stellar women in the community. This year in recognition of the Centennial celebration of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., all of the honorees are members of the sorority, which for over 100 years has focused on Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service. Fourteen scholarships will be presented to promising Atlanta Public School students.
The Mistress of Ceremony will be Delta’s own Mo Ivory of CBS radio, host of her own talk show on WAOK- 1380 AM.
