Fast Food and Asthma

The British Medical Journal reports on the strong correlation between fast food consumption and the incidence of Asthma.

Children who eat three or more fast food meals a week have a 39% greater risk for severe asthma.

British Medical Journal, January 2013

There are a multitude of reasons one shouldn't consume fast food on a regular basis if at all.  But if you are having a hard time coming up with a good reason for yourself, perhaps you will consider doing it for your children.

Fast food is full of chemicals and preservatives that are simply not good for you.  A child's developing body and nervous system has a hard time metabolizing this junk and can affect their health.

If you need help getting motivated or focused on your health and the health of your children, consult with a provider that is wellness minded.  You could help your children avoid a lifetime of health issues with a simple change in lifestyle.
