Over the weekend, Atlanta Police announced they made a second arrest of a person they believe is connected with the shooting of 23-year-old Joseph Gibbs on Parsons Street in the AUC.
According to Sgt. Lyon, "On 6/20/13 The Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended a second suspect Devin Richard Campbell for the Murder of Joe Clifford Gibbs."
Nicolas Ross Smith was already taken into custody days before, and is believed by the APD to be the actual shooter of the Morehouse student. According to Sgt. Lyon, Gibbs and 2 other passengers in his car were targeted by the suspects. The police investigators say that they believe this was a drug related incident.
