Cascade City Councilors Sponsor Health, Wellness Meeting

The town hall is being held on Tuesday, April 10.

Atlanta City Councilmembers Keisha Lance Bottoms and Cleta Winslow - both of whom represent portions of Cascade and southwest Atlanta - are teaming up with several organizations for a town hall meeting on childhood health and wellness.

The event is set for 6 pm next Tuesday, April 10 at M. Agnes Jones Elementary School,  1040 Fair Street.

“This town hall meeting will promote exercise, healthier eating habits, and encourage young Atlantans to be physically active,” said Bottoms.  “We want to put children on a healthy path.  This meeting will provide valuable information on healthy lifestyle choices and the importance of fitness and nutrition.”
