Cascade Legislative Hopeful Set To Attend Friday Rally

, who is running to unseat (D-Atlanta), is set to hold a rally on Friday at noon at the state capitol in support of repealing Georgia's so-called "Stand Your Ground Law."

“Our campaign was the first in the state to call for the repeal, reform or replacement of Georgia’s ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws," Patillo said.

The "Stand Your Ground" laws have been in the spotlight since the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. The Florida teen was killed by a neighborhood watch captain who said he felt threatened by Martin during a confrontation.
