Community Meeting Tonight on Proposed Campbellton Rd. & Cascade Corridor Zoning Changes

Zoning changes proposed would make large beautiful green spaces within SW Atlanta.

This past spring Councilmembers Winslow, Martin, Bottoms, and Sheperd introduced zoning legislation to rezone properties along portions of Campbellton Road and Cascade Avenue to implement the recommendations from the adopted Campbellton-Cascade Corridors Redevelopment Plan (2006).

The Plan calls for the transformation of each corridor from an automobile-oriented corridor with isolated land uses into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use neighborhood.

A series of public meetings are being held to receive input, review and comments on the proposed zoning changes.
