SPECIFICS: View all exhibits at the High Museum free of charge (for Fulton County residents) this weekend. One very popular exhibit still showing is Radcliff Bailey's Memory as Medicine exhibit. Other exhibits showing include Modern By Design, Marin's Watercolors, and Folk Art.

HOME DEPOT KIDS WORKSHOP
WHEN: Saturday, September 3 at 10am - 12pm
WHERE: The Home Depot, 1032 Research Center Drive, Atlanta, GA 30331 (off Cascade Road)
SPECIFICS: Every first and third Saturday of the month, The Cascade Home Depot sponsors workshops to teach children building skills and tool safety. Children create such items as race cars, bird houses, tool boxes, and fire trucks. Parents are welcome as well.

Express Yourself – World of Children's Picture Books
WHEN: Sunday, 1pm-5pm
WHERE: The Breman Jewish Heritage and Holocaust Museum, 1440 Spring Street, Atlanta, 30309.
SPECIFICS: Children can play dress-up, shoot hoops, compose music on instruments, or read in a tree house surrounded by art work from well-known children's books.

Life and Death in the Pyramid Age: The Emory Old Kingdom Mummy
WHEN: Tuesday – Saturday, 10am-4pm; Sunday 12pm-4pm
WHERE: The Carlos Museum, 571 S. Kilgo Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322
SPECIFICS: View a rarely seen Egyptian Mummy acquired from a Middle Egypt site in a 1920 excavation. The excavation will also focus on the mummification and burial process, as well as the social and political changes that marked the end of the Pyramid Age.
