Hello, I am the new Editor of Your Cascade Patch

Greetings,

My name is Marc Richardson and I am lucky to have been named the new Editor of your Cascade Patch website.  It is my intention to serve our community to the fullest with insightful, fun, timely, and vital news that will not only help you but will make you want/need to come back day after day.

for over 15 years and my family has lived in the community since the 1950’s. I promise to serve you and your families in whatever way I can.

My philosophy is that journalists should be an extension of the community.  We should go out and speak truth to power and make sure your voices are heard and represented. As a community website, our goal is to receive one-on-one feedback from readers like yourself.  You have a direct line to me and can tell me the type of topics you want me to cover.  No story is too small or too big.  I will do my best to cover any story that affects our community and is of interest to you.

And I want you to know that this is your site too. You are welcome to blog, post announcements and add items to our community calendar.

If I am doing my job well, I will learn from you and you will sometimes learn from me as well.

I cannot say enough that I am here for you.  I need you to be involved with our site and let me know what works and what does not. Email me with tips, suggestions, photos, info, anything!

Together we can be a force of communication and help our community maintain its historic stature in Atlanta.
