Help Wanted: Atlanta Tech is Hiring for Education Positions in Saudi Arabia

Atlanta Technical College needs to fill education positions in Saudi Arabia.

Help Wanted on Atlanta Tech's staff, and these jobs will give you a chance to see and work in Saudi Arabia.

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) has joined in a collaborative agreement with Saudi Arabia’s King Faisal University to expand technical workforce training in the Middle East nation.

The current job openings are all full-time contract positions with Atlanta Technical College, a unit of the TCSG. The persons hired will live and work in Saudi Arabia for 12 months while on assignment to the KFUCC project. All of the positions have full State of Georgia employee benefits, including health insurance. While in Saudi Arabia, KFUCC will provide the TCSG employees with furnished off-campus housing and transportation to and from work.

The job opportunities include:

Campus Manager (two positions): manages six to eight employees and ensures the delivery of all TCSG contracted services for the KFUCC project. The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience abroad with exposure to Saudi Arabian culture is helpful. The salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 plus benefits.

Student Affairs Coordinator (two positions): reports to the TCSG Campus Manager at the KFUCC project while planning and coordinating academics, registration, advisement and activities for one gender group. The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in planning and implementing student activity programs in a postsecondary environment. Exposure abroad with exposure to Saudi Arabian culture is helpful. The salary is $60,000 plus benefits.

ESL (English as a Second Language) Coordinator (one position): reports to the TCSG Campus Manager at the KFUCC project while coordinating the ESL program and eight ESL instructors. The position will direct and assist with ESL lesson plans, learning activities and delivery of classroom instruction. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited college or university or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an area related to social development. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience in ESL instruction and recent experience in project management or supervision. Exposure abroad with exposure to Saudi Arabian culture is helpful. The salary is $70,000 plus benefits.

ESL Instructor (eight positions): responsible for teaching ESL to Saudi Arabian students in a postsecondary environment. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree from an accredited college or university or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an area related to social development. Preferred experience includes two years of experience in ESL instruction. Experience abroad with exposure to Saudi Arabian culture is helpful. The salary is $55,000 annually.

All job candidates must possess a valid U.S. passport with an expiration date of not less than one year from the job’s start date and be able to sign a visa to enter Saudi Arabia. Persons hired are required to sign an employment contract with the TCSG.
