Kroger Celebrates Re-Opening of Metropolitan Parkway Store at 10 a.m., June 6th
Kroger reopens Metropolitan Pkwy store in style.
Residents up and down Metropolitan Parkway are invited to attend the Grand Re-opening of their neighborhood at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6th.
“As one of our largest stores in the Atlanta area, the Metropolitan Parkway location has always been a neighborhood partner, and committed to serving the community,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division.
“Now with improved amenities and expanded product lines, we are thrilled to open the new store and provide customers with an enhanced and convenient shopping experience.”

The newly renovated Kroger features:
- Full service meat and seafood department
- Floral department
- Expanded pharmacy
- New express carousels and self-checkouts
- Upgraded décor
- Expanded deli/bakery/natural food department
- Updated produce department with cut fruit station
