NPU-T Meeting Reminder - Wednesday, October 10th 7PM

Good day community! Please mark your calendar and spread the word for our next NPU-T meeting.  We are meeting THIS WEDNESDAY at 7PM.  Please join us at 686 Joseph Lowery Blvd., at the Empire Board of Realtists.  

This month we will have Commissioner Garner.  Commissioner Garner has invited the new Economic Development Administrator to attend the NPU meeting to talk about what his department will be able to do to bring economic development to your area and Gerry Easley, the Interim Housing and Human Services Director to provide information about senior services, job opportunities and job training services, homelessness services and housing, transitional housing, etc...   

Also, don't forget- Code Enforcement is still a MAJOR topic within our NPU.  Officer Kirkland will be available to provide an update on a few reported homes being demolished. Please remember, this is not an "overnight" process. We must have patient, be persistent and RESPECTFUL to all, especially those working on our behalf. Immediate answers may not be available but updates will be provided and progress will be made.
