Recycle Christmas Trees at the Cascade Home Depot

Don't throw away your Christmas tree! Put it to good use.

From now until Jan. 12, bring your old Christmas trees to The Home Depot location off of Cascade at 1032 Research Center Atlanta SW Dr. to be recycled.

Residents who are provided trash/recycling services by the city can put their trees out with their trash/recycling containers.

"Bring One for the Chipper" is a statewide treecycling event, hosted by Keep Georgia Beautiful and its partner organizations. According to its website, Keep Georgia Beautiful has recycled 5.9 million Christmas trees since the inception of "Bring One for the Chipper."

The recycled trees can be used for mulch, fuel, fish habitats and more. The mulch from these trees has been used for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and in individual yards.
