Rev. Al Sharpton To Speak Sunday At West Hunter Baptist

The civil rights activist will be the guest speaker for the Men's Day Worship Service.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, president of the National Action Network, will be the guest speaker at West Hunter Street Baptist Church's  Annual Men's Day Worship Service, 10:45 a.m., Sun., June 26.

 The theme of this year's celebration is: “Men Committed to Build Better Relationships Through Christian Unity.”

Sharpton, a civil rights activist and broadcaster, can be heard in Atlanta on his syndicated radio show from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday,on WAOK-AM 1380. The show is streamed online at www.waok.com.

Robert MacNeil will be the guest speaker at the Men's Day Breakfast, 9 a.m., Sat., June 25 at the church in the activity building located at 1040 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd., in West End. (Donation: $15).

Dr. Toussaint K. Hill Jr., is the senior pastor of the 128 year-old year iconic church once led by the late civil rights leader Rev. Ralph D. Abernathy Jr.
