100 Black Men Hold BOE Candidate Forum at Cascade UMC, 10/24 at 7pm

Candidates from Districts 5, 6, and at-large 9 running for a Board of Education seat will be in attendance.

According to their website, the mission of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. is to provide support and improve the quality of life for African Americans, and youth in particular, in the Atlanta community.  The organization continues that egacy and mission with its series of APS Board of Education Candidate Forums this month ahead of the November elections.

The 100 Black Men of Atlanta, which was founded in 1986 by Atlanta-based entrepreneur Nathaniel Goldston,  will host the last of 3 Atlanta Board of Education candidate forums this week at Cascade UMC to help the community members make informed voting decisions.
