Atlanta Board of Education District 5 Candidate Forum Held at Mays High on Oct. 9

Cascade Patch is extending an open invitation to all of our readers to attend the EMC2 sponsored Atlanta Board of Education District 5 Candidate Forum on Wednesday, October 9 at Benjamin E. Mays High School.

The forum will start at 7pm and end at 8:30pm in the theater. We will have a question and answer section after each candidate responds to 5 preset questions.

Here are the upcoming events and dates sponsored by EMC2.

• Wednesday, October 9 - EMC2 will host a  Q&A forum for District 5 candidates for Atlanta Board of Education at B.E.Mays High School from 7 - 8:30pm. Come out to hear from Raynard Johnson, Charles Lawrence, Steven Lee, and Mary Palmer.
• Saturday, October 26 - Atlanta City Councilmen C.T. Martin and H. Lamar Willis will join Emc2: Embracing Mays Community and Cluster Schools to host the 3rd annual Mays Community and Cluster School Parade and Festival. 
• EMC2 - Embracing Mays Community and Cluster Schools will hold our 4 meetings for school year 2013-2014 in Young's media center. All meetings are on Saturday, we will start at 12:30pm and end by 2pm. Come out to discuss specific concerns and successes in our cluster and community.
