Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation "A Masked Ball"

The Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation presents "A Masked Ball" for its annual fundraising event to be held on June 21, 2014 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel, 265 Peachtree Center Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30303.  

"A Masked Ball" is an evening of formal and festive attire that includes dinner, entertainment, a live auction and an exciting masked parade led by Carolyn and Janice Wilbourn of the famous Wilbourn Sisters Designs, followed by dancing for a worthy cause.

Alicia Ivey, President of Goldbergs Concessions will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.Participating on the program for a third consecutive time, Xernona Clayton, founder, President and CEO of the “Trumpet Awards” will be a featured speaker. The world acclaimed jazz and blues singer Theresa Hightower will be the live musical entertainment for the evening.

The L.I.F.E (Leader in Future Education) and H.E.A.R.T. (Helping Education and Recognizing Truth) inaugural awards will be presented at this event to outstanding individuals who passionately support education and embody professional excellence. 

Since 1997, The Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation has raised more than $300,000 to help 260 aspiring students achieve their dreams of higher education. The scholarship recipients are selected based on criteria and characteristics demonstrated by Dr. Barbara Lewis King - Founder Minister/World Spiritual Leader of Hillside International Truth Center in Southwest Atlanta. Excellence in education, community service, following one's dreams, and walking in faith.
