Meet & Greet School Board Candidate Shawnna Hayes-Tavares.  Meet some good neighbors, volunteer and more.  

Shawnna has been a voice for the voiceless.  She has been on the front line on issues, such as the CRCT Cheating Scandal, Special Education, equitable resources for ALL APS schools, and fair treatment of teachers.  

We had not had a voice on the south side of town in over a decade, until Shawnna came to the table!  She has created an echo chamber of hope for parent and community advocacy south of downtown.  As seen on all Atlanta TV and radio stations, she has also had a national and international appeal with appearances on Brian Williams Rock Center, BBC and Boston.
