Atlanta's Ballethnic Dance Company will launch the fall performance season
with “Elevate concert of dance" --showcasing three contemporary ballets ,
favorites with long-time company patrons.
The program reflects original choreography by Co-Founder Waverly Lucas and the early creation of Ballethnic’s signature style: its fusion of classical ballet with African, Jazz and other ethnic
dance forms.

"Alonzo,” a vivid
depiction of the martial arts and ballet.
"Ne Blanc," a new work by famed choreographer Dr. Mel Tomlinson.

"Lover’s Trilogy,” a well-known pas de deux
((dance for two), danced by Mr. Lucas and Nena
Gilreath.
Other Featured Performers:
the Ballet Youth Ensemble (BYE); Bowden Center’s
senior dance troupe, “Edeliegba” or Full Circle; and a
duo of dancers with disabilities, “Full Radius.”
Show Days/Times: Friday and Saturday, at 8 p.m.; and
on Sunday, 3 p.m.

the general public and $15 for children, seniors or groups.
