Atlanta's Ballethnic Dance Company will offer two special activities this Saturday, Jan. 5, from 3 to 6 p.m. in conjunction with its signature production - "The Leopard Tale" :
Screenings from earlier performances of "The Leopard Tale," which depicts the dramatic interplay between the powerful leopard and other members of the animal kingdom. Ballet, African, modern and jazz dance forms-- highlighted by live African drumming -capture the high-energy, drama and non-stop action in the colorful production.
"The Leopard Tale" Make-up Workshop, which will demonstrate how the special 'animalistic' looks are created for the dancers and characters in the production.

There is a $5 admission fee for the Saturday afternoon activities.
Saturday's Leopard Tale program is the first in a series of activities that will culminate in the reprisal of "The Leopard Tale," March 21-24, at GSU's Rialto Theatre.

Auditions for "The Leopard Tale" (dancers, other artists) are set for Saturday, Jan. 19, from 3 to 6 p.m.
