A Black History Event brought to you by the organizers of AfroXplosion 2013
An entertaining panel discussion and conversation about the retention of African Arts and its relevance in the contemporary lives of the diaspora and African people. Dynamic Professors and Arts Practitioners converge
at the Southwest Performing Arts Center to answer the question, “Why should I support African Arts: dance, music, theatre, film, art, or architecture?” and to talk about four major African centered events happening in Atlanta - 2013.
Projects to be discussed are DanceAfrica Atlanta, the West African theatrical production Wedlock of the Gods, AfroDream Fest, and South African one woman
show, MOTHER TO MOTHER. Seating is limited!
