Community Corner

Communities, Libraries, and Art

The Friends of the Stewart-Lakewood Library (FOSLL) are hosting a panel discussion about Communities, Libraries, and Art on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 7PM at the Stewart-Lakewood Library. FOSLL hopes the discussion allows the members of our communities to learn about art and artists in our commu-nity. We will also talk about art that will be in the new library and opportuni-ties community members will have to participate in discussions about art in the library.
The panel discussion will include Lisa Tuttle (Education and Outreach Coordi-nator with Fulton County Arts and Culture), Cinque Hicks (Creative Director at Atlanta Art Now), and Sheila Pree Bright (local Atlanta artist whose Young Americans murals are now in Capitol View on Deckner and on Dill).
Please join us for an engaging conversation and a chance to meet your neighbors!

The library is located on 2893 Lakewood Avenue SW Atlanta, GA 30315 at the corner of Lakewood Ave. and Fleet St. Light refreshments to follow the discussion. For More Information Email: FOSLL_Atl@hotmail.com
