Premier Academy hosts 2012 Legacy Golf Tournament to provide Scholarships for Low Income Families

Premier Academy, Inc. will host its annual 2012 Legacy Golf Tournament, providing scholarships for low-income families of preschoolers on Friday, October 26th at Browns Mill Golf Course 480 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta GA 30354 starting with continental breakfast with the shotgun beginning at 8:30am. The cost to participate is $100 per person or $400 per team with proceeds to provide scholarships for early education for low-income families. This annual golf tournament provides scholarships each year to offset tuition fees for low-income and at-risk families.  This year, Legacy Golf participants can expect wonderful prizes to include : an Ivory Chevrolet Car for the Hole-in-One winner, Hole- n- One Prizes on every Par 3, $1,000 Shopping Spree at the PGA Tour Superstore, rounds of golf from several local golf courses and cash awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.


For over 40 years, Premier Academy has provided the educational foundation for more than 21,000 children and has removed barriers to quality education for thousands of at-risk children while strengthening their families and the community. Executive Director Cindra Taylor states, "We are excited to have Ray M. Robinson- Former President of AT&T Southern Region with his friends and comrades lead this event that will provide a fun recreational outlet while making a lasting impact on the educational outcomes of more than 400 children."

 Bonus events and prizes include a 19th Hole Celebration to conclude the event with food and drinks and additional prizes to consist of weekend getaways, fine dining certificates, silent auction and golf clinic.
