Walmart and General Mills Hosts “Stuff the Truck” Event on Thursday at New MLK Walmart

Walmart and General Mills hosted a “Stuff the Truck” event today driving food donations that will go directly to the Atlanta Community Food Bank in support of hunger relief programs.


General Mills Outnumber Hunger presented a $10,000 check and donated pallets of food to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to kick off the food drive.


This event was part of the “Fighting Hunger Together” spring initiative, led by Walmart, General Mills and nine other grocery partners have joined forces to generate millions of meals and bring much needed food and funding to Feeding America food banks and agencies across the county.

The event was open to the general public and food donations were encouraged. Customers dropped donated product in marked Atlanta Community Food Bank bins throughout the area.
