SNAPPN-Charity Poetry Event to benefit Carrie Steele-Pitts Home

Come out and support the 1st Annual Snappn' Spoken Work Charity Event on December 20, 2013 at The Event Hall at Cascade benefiting the Carrie Steele-Pitts home, a local orphanage in metro Atlanta.

Carrie Steele Pitts Home is Atlanta, Georgia historic home for children in need. For over a century, they have provided a nurturing environment for abused, abandoned and neglected children who are unable to stay with their parents. This place is a safe haven for children where they provide 24- hour supervision caring staff members that supports and loves for up to 100 children in need. The spoken word portion of the event will also be sure to help you snap in the spirit and provide a soure of encouragement, entertainment, and more! There will be over 4 talented spoken word artists/poets performing and supporting this very charitable cause. There will be a Live DJ and special guest hosts to commemorate this great cause and ensure a very happy holiday for these young people. So you are asking yourself what can I do to help? The answer is simple, you can help in two ways. The first way you can help is to go online to buy your ticket to the event and since it is for a charitable cause your ticket will be tax deductable. To purchase your tickets in advance visit www.ehcascade.com.

The second way you can help this cause is by donating items that will benefit the orphanage and help spread the holiday spirit. The Carrie Steele-Pitts home houses 20 adolescent aged children who need items such as toilettries, socks, casual wear and more. For the complete list please go to www.ehcascade.com.
