Victory Count-Down Celebration for East Point, College Park, Union City & Fairburn Cities Join Forces

A combined “Victory Count-Down Celebrative” for East
Point, Union City, Fairburn, and College Park, Georgia, has been designed by
the Voter Empowerment Collaboration.  The election party will be held on Tuesday
night, November 5, from 7:00 to 11:00
p.m. at the Windsor Hotel, located at 5010 Old National Highway, College Park,
GA 30349 on the corner of Old National Highway and Interstate 285.
.  The public is invited to come out and meet
the candidates and their supporters as they wait for the results to come in
form the polls.

Reverend Albert E.
Love
, organizer of the election night celebration, says “this party will be
family-friendly.  We invite mothers,
fathers, and grandparents to bring their children so they can share in the
festivities and see the results of the political process.  This just might encourage some young person
to run for office and to contribute community good.”

While Atlanta often over-shadows the election of the many
neighboring cities, the Voter Empowerment Collaboration wants to remind voters
all over the Metropolitan area that their elections are very important to the
vitality of the region.
