Who: Noah's Ark Atlanta

What:  Book Drive & Walk for Change Press Conference

When:  Saturday June 16th, and Saturday June 23rd 2011

Where: Fulton County Jail 901 Rice Street NW Atlanta, Georgia 30318

Time:  11PM Est.

Rick Evans, President of Noah's Ark Atlanta will be meeting with Chief Crawford at the Rice street jail and other community leaders to include members of the Cobb SCLC, to collect books on motivation, inspiration and education and speak about his upcoming annual walk for change from Rice Street Jail to Fulton County Courthouse. We have too many fathers in prison and preparing to go to prison instead of spending time with their children (Fathers Day Message). We need to get back in touch with our children. That is what this walk for CHANGE is about. I have partnered with other organizations who have told me that they will walk alongside me to the courthouse on June 23rd. We will be seeking media support and will be reaching out to all media executives because this is the type of coverage we need. This coverage will show communities and those that are incarcerated that there are individuals willing to take the lead to bring about the change we need today. If you have something to share the time is now to speak out. Your silence is only killing us. I look forward to meeting and greeting you at the book drive on the 16th of June and hopefully I will see you at the walk on the 23rd of June.
