Sickle Cell - Natural Healings is about things I am doing naturally to treat my son with SS disease. So far, he's 1 year and 4 months free of any sickle cell issues.
I would like to start off by introducing myself and explaining how I became interested in blogging on Sickle Cell and Natural Healing. I am 38 years old and I was born with the Trait. I have never experienced a pain crisis and I've never been hospitalized for SS related issues until 2010; I was 36 years old delivering my 3rd child.
In 2007 we had our first child, she has the trait and we saved her stem cells. In 2008, we had our second baby - he was diagnosed with SS Disease, this is when all the true, long hours of research began for me. In 2010, we had another baby and he has SC, which is the mildest form of the disease. My SS baby started having Acute Splenic Sequestration Crisis early 2010, he was in the hospital every 3 to 4 months and he had 2 blood transfusions because his hemoglobin dropped to 6. Then finally, I discovered a miraculous herb that has totally changed our lives.
