Atlanta Officer Killed in Douglas County - Wake Being Held at Murray Brothers

Ryan Adrian Baird, 38, was off duty, driving on a curve when he lost control of his Jeep Cherokee and hit a tree. 

The Georgia State Patrol said the accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. near Mann and Stockmar roads in Villa Rica.

"Our condolences go out to the family, friends and coworkers of City of Atlanta Police Department Officer Ryan Adrian Baird," reads the Douglas County Sheriff's Facebook page.
