We are not "throwing" veterans in with convicted felons, we are extending a helping hand to those people we feel are sometimes overlooked by society. We are extending a helping hand to those people that find it hard to ask for help because of pride, shame, embarrassment or whatever reason they have. Everyone needs, has needed or will need help in their lifetime no matter who they are, veteran, ex-offender or regular citizen that got laid off is in need of job search facilities. Lastly, if you are wondering why an organization is willing to help veterans and ex-offenders, I wonder why a true veteran, citizen of the United States would join the military to defend and protect people that are ex-offenders because in essence the VETERAN HELPS EVERYONE, PROTECTS EVERYONE, DEFENDS EVERYONE FROM THE PRESIDENT TO THE CONVICTED FELON!
