Torry Lewis is the Only Candidate on the Ballot Against Winslow

Hello supporters,

Today I received a call from Rhonda D. Johnson, City of Atlanta Elections Superintendent, who informed me that I am the only person on the ballot against Cleta Winslow in this upcoming election. This is so important to our campaign because this is the first time in the last five elections that Winslow has had a 1 on 1 competition. This 2-person competition is good for our campaign because, historically, challengers would beat each other out of victory. Unlike a presidential race where there are two main contenders, a city council race can have an unlimited qualified candidates who often dissolve the vote.

We are now able to solidify our support and we will be able to ensure a more competitive and, ultimately, a victorious race.

DONATE TODAY

I do want to take this time to thank Sister DeBorah Williams, who was dropped from the ballot, for proving to be a great leader in our community. As time goes on…we will continue to seek her support and guidance in our quest to make District 4 a better place.

WE CAN NOT LET THIS NEWS STOP WHAT WE ARE DOING! We are about 40 days away from changing the political landscape in Atlanta. Please donate TODAY! Your contribution can be the difference between losing by 100 votes or winning by 1,000 votes.

Cleta Winslow is vulnerable…With the recent news of her getting $250,000 in questionable reimbursements that she will not comment on; her May 2013 DUI that she has not commented on; her “snubbing” of 10,000 college students by refusing to debate; and her using city money for her 2009 and 2005 election…She has proven that she cannot lead our district and our great city.
Please be a part of this movement of change and support our efforts!
