One Suspect Identified in Wednesday's Murder Near Washington Road and Lakemont

East Point police are requesting the public's help in finding the suspects connected to a Wednesday morning shooting that left one victim dead from a single gunshot to the head. No specific motive for the shooting has yet to be released, but officers believe it stemmed from a fight that started between 2 groups that evening.

East Point police say officers found Dennis Savage on the side of the road near Lakemont Drive and Washington Road. They say the victim was shot multiple times. - Fox 5

Jontae Smith, 22 years-old has been the only suspect that police have identified, but believe he may have 2 accomplices in this crime.  Smith is not yet in custody, and may be driving a red Ford Crown Victoria with Georgia plate PAA 5963.

Jontae Smith has an extensive record and has been arrested before.  He is described as 5'8" and weighing 150 pounds.
