1 Teen Killed, 1 Female Teen Injured in Late-Night Shooting on Campbellton Rd.
19 year-old female who was shot late Tuesday evening is now recovering in Grady.
A shoot-out in Southwest Atlanta on Tuesday evening that left 1 dead and 1 injured near Campbellton Road has made news today. According to police, it looks like multiple shots were fired and from multiple weapons, so there may have been more than 1 gunman.
CBS Atlanta is reporting that the 19 year-old female victim who was shot in the leg but will survive, will be celebrating her 20th birthday on Thursday. The incident happened at Deerfield Gardens Apartments around 10pm on Tuesday. The other victim, a 19 year old male, was not as lucky and pronounced dead at the scene.
A motive for the shootings and possible suspects have not been released as of Wednesday morning. Patch will have more as the story develops.
