22-year-old Arrested for Shooting Towards Braves Fans

Atlanta Police have arrested Cordricus Anderson, 22, for aggravated assault, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property and simple battery on Friday evening near Turner Field, according to a local Channel 2 report.

Police reported to Georgia Avenue and Martin Street after receiving a call around 6 p.m. of a man firing shots near the stadium during an Atlanta Braves game.

“A male was chasing several people with a pump shotgun and shooting at them," said Officer John Chafee, a spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department. "The male was apprehended; no one was injured."

Anderson is being held at the Fulton County jail.
